What is the coaching process?
‘Coaching for Better Performance’ uses realistic drama to introduce the coaching process and shows a manager using it with two members of his team.
Engage with the person you’re coaching to understand exactly how they work.
Motivate the person to achieve new goals. (The motivation doesn’t come from the Coach; it comes from the person you are coaching because you let them identify their own goals.)
Specify the goals, and make sure that they are SMART: specific, measurable achievable, realistic and timed.
Carry out the actions that lead to the new goals being accomplished.
Review the process to determine what improvements have been made, and what other actions need to take place.

The Leader's Guide is designed to help you conduct a group learning session. You can also make use of the ready-to-run training session and the PowerPoint® slides.
The hand-out contains all key learning points for learners to take away.
Certificate of Attendance
The certificate can be used to confirm a learner’s attendance at a 'Handling Angry Callers' session.
The animated PowerPoint® presentation can be used to conduct the three hour learning session contained in the Leader’s Guide.
